Flutist Jessica Sherer, a Valdosta, GA native, made her solo debut at age 15 performing Vivaldi’s Concerto in A minor for Two Violins and Orchestra with the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra. This was also one of her last performances on the violin, as she decided to shift her focus to the flute. Two years later, she became the youngest member of the VSO, and that same year was a featured soloist at the Georgia Music Educators’ Association Annual Convention in Savannah, GA.
